We invited a total of 113 organizations to apply within this cause. 50 completed our Round 1 application; 54 did not apply (the remaining 9 applied in other causes). Full details of how we found applicants, for all five of our causes, are available here.

The goal of our Round 1 application was to identify the charities most likely to be able to demonstrate proven past success in improving educational outcomes for disadvantaged students.
